Map of Our Day

We went out the house and we saw a House Wren then we went to Cross Street and we saw a yellow bird but at first we didn't know what it was then a few minutes later we saw it again and we saw it was a Blue-winged Warbler. After that we found 2 Rose-breasted Grosbeaks. Then we had to walk over to the pond and we got a Warbling Vireo when it was there. Then we heard a Wood Thrush then my dad took a picture of it. We got a Common Yellowthroat that stayed hidden. Then we went to Brierly Pond and there were thousands of bugs EVERYWHERE!! and they were bugging us! They were in our ear and biting us. First thing we saw were 3 Catbirds! I saw an American Redstart all by myself it was a lifer for me and a first for the year for my daddy. We had 4 Black-and-white Warblers crawling on the trees and a Palm Warbler. Also the Palm Warblers bob their tails. Then we ran into Alan Marble and we talked to him and Grammy showed up and we helped her get some birds. We went to Douglas State Forest and we heard a Northern Waterthrush and it was flying and jumping around all over the place. After that we saw a Red-bellied Woodpecker poking out of his home. Then we saw 4 Broad-winged Hawks and a Cooper's Hawk. Then another one caught a mouse and was eating it! Then there was a yellow jacket on the car when we wanted to leave on grammys side. it was looking at its reflection!! We have 5 Baltimore Orioles in our yard because we put out oranges for them!!
